Ylang-Ylang oil is extracted via steam-distillation from the yellow orchid-like flowers of the Cananga Odorata tree (found in the rainforests of Asian & Southern Pacific Islands). Ylang-Ylang has been used to reduce the psychological effects of depression, anxiety and stress, whilst inducing a sense of calm. It has also been used to alleviate the skin condition of seborrheic eczema.
